The official Blog of Tommy Giacchi (a.k.a. - The NASCAR Yeti) will start the week of the Daytona 500. The Race takes place on February 18th, but the Yeti blog will begin a few days earlier. Tommy, will be taking us back to the pits and beyond starting February 15th, 2007. So keep a look out for "the Yeti" at a track near you during the upcoming NASCAR season.
Coming this NASCAR Season, Tommy Giacchi, will take us beyond the pits, and give us an insider look at the NASCAR Circuit. "The NASCAR Yeti" a name that is as obvious as the hair on his face, Tommy will continue to keep his end of the deal, and not shave until Carl Edwards brings home a Nextel Cup Victory in 2007. Getting up close and personal with a Yeti has never been achievable until now. Stay tuned for audio, video, and pictures from the pits, parties, the RV, etc. It's all beginning on February 18th in Daytona.

No close shave: It will take a backflip for Tom Giacchi to bring out the blade.
He's the motor coach driver for Carl Edwards and says he will not shave again until Edwards pulls into Victory Lane.
The 4 o'clock shadow is now a four-month shadow. Edwards' last victory came Nov. 6 at Texas Motor Speedway. He finished 26th on Sunday and was never in contention.
Ironically, Edwards was recently inducted into the Gillette "Young Guns" program and helps promote the Gillette Fusion. Giacchi can't wait to use one again.

Edwards has finished second twice this season, but second doesn't do his motor coach driver Tom Giacchi any favors. Giacchi vowed last November he wouldn't shave until Edwards won. Sunday night at Watkins Glen, Giacchi was seen riding around on a bike looking more and more like a front man for Z.Z. Top.

Nextel Cup and Busch Star Carl Edwards takes in the Craftsman Truck Race Friday on a "Off Night" for Edwards. He pulled triple duty this weekend racing Thursday at IRP in the USAC race along with Thiago Mederos. Carl's crew member Tom Giacchi hopes Carl wins soon.... he made a bet with Edwards last year that he wont shave until Carl Wins.. so far he has kept his end of the bet.
