OK, we do know that Tom is somewhere outside Martinsville. Where exactly? We aren't sure. Somehow he has ripped off his GPS tracking collar, and left it in Bristol.
We apologize for not posting much lately . . . and this is the reason I had to give an update, after reading Kathy's latest comment.
Dude are ya MIA? You're fans miss their yeti. - Kathy
Actually Kathy the answer to your question is quite simple. With the arrival of Spring every year, two very interesting phenomenons occur throughout North America. Most of us know that Springtime is usually the best time of the year for sports; which is why most of us catch a bit of "Spring Fever" or come down with a two week spell of "March Madness" (where your symptoms persist until you realize you have no chance at winning your office poll). However, most of us may not realize; that Springtime also marks the arrival of "Mating Season" for most of the Yetis in the Northern Hemisphere. Leading me to believe, that Tom is currently somewhere in the backwoods near Martinsville, in search of the ever so lovely "Lady Yeti" (also known as - "The Midnight Howler"). In fact, according to the discovery channel, most Yetis become extremely irritated right after Hibernation (the off-season), and stay this way until Mating season is over, or at least until their aggression is worked out. This is why most Yetis have a tendency to become very elusive in Spring, and a pain in the ass to track down.
We received an anonymous picture this week, and after extensive research, we do believe it is the latest shot of Tom Heading into the Appalachian Mountains (somewhere in VA).
In all Honesty . . . we haven't heard from Tom in about a week and a half. We assume he is doing fine, but extremely busy helping Carl win Busch Races and maintaining his top 10 status in Nextel.
Last contact we had with Tom, was when he was en route to Atlanta. He called saying that he had tons of pictures and stories, from events like the Playboy party in Vegas; Track Side shots; and even some pictures of he and Carl enjoying one of the rivers on their way back to Dixie. Tom also promised to put all of these up from his laptop on the road. But as you can tell, that didn't happen. Personally, I think Tom is still a little scared of his laptop, and this whole new venture with technology. Please be patient with Tom, because he is still pretty new at this. I do know for a fact that he is getting pictures, video, etc. and as soon as we track him down, I will make sure he posts something for everyone to see.
Edhead Nation and Yeti Supporters stay strong.
For now, go vote on the new Yeti poll to the left.

All of a sudden I had a picture of Tom being in commercials for Dell as the Yeti...kind of like the Cavemen and Geico....
The Yeti needs to check in....what's more important mating season or...never mind, I don't even want to know. Maybe we should get him microchipped...so he can't take that GPS collar off....

LOL! I've missed the Yeti! I hope Tom knows that his minions of fans fully support him. Can't wait to see his pics and hear from him again. Don't be scared, Tom, the laptop won't bite.
