I was checking out www.edheadchronicles.com today and noticed this Photo Montage from Brandi.
Brandi, have they given you the title of #1 EdHead Yet? Just curious, because if they haven't, they probably should.

Well, there you go making me smile all over again! Glad you enjoyed the photos, as well as my writings. I appreciate your continued support more than you know...As for my being named #1 Edhead - no, can't say that's happened. BUT if you can pull any strings, feel free to go right ahead!!! I promise to wear that label with pride...BUT that contest might just be a tough one to win! Between beating you, his parents, his brother, the rest of your friends, and all the other longtime fans, I don't know that little ol' me would stand much of a chance...In the meantime, I'll be content just being one of the masses. Not to mention, I don't think I could hold the title on my own anyway...Where would I be without my partner-in-crime up there??? A lone bearded lady in Bristol (or in Atlanta) might do little more than just turn heads...But thanks for the happy thought, Tom!!!!

I bestow the title of #0.5 Edhead upon you, Brandi! Together we make #1!!! That's awesome to see the pictures here!
Hey, Tom. We're still scheming and, though we've hung up the beards (we need new ones... ours don't grow and it's getting a little outdated), if at all possible, the Tom-ettes will make 1 more appearance. Where? Well, that's up to Carl!

Hi Tom:
I saw you on the pre-race show on Speed on Saturday and had to write and compliment you on your killer beard. I have been bearded since I got out of the Navy 30 years ago. The Navy made me shave 3 times a day so when I got out I rebelled. I have been thinking about letting my beard grow long and have some questions.
1. How long has it been since you last shaved?
2. How long is your beard at present?
3. What do you use to keep your beard from tangling?
One further comment: When I started my beard I let it grow long enough to cover the skin on my face. Several months after I started it I decided to cut it down to short stubble. Then I went out in the sun and ended up in the hospital with severe burns. When Carl wins and you shave your beard, please remember that the skin on your face has been protected by your beard for a long time. Please use a strong sun screen on your face. Believe me you don't want the pain of a severe sun burn.

Hi Tom:
I forgot to ask if I could get a picture of you bearded. I would like to see what a long beard looks like to help make my decision on letting mine grow. E-mail me private.
Carl
