I was just wondering . . .

. . . about what you (the viewers) want me to put on this site.  I am meeting with the web guys this week, to talk about content.  I think we all have some good ideas;  however, I wanted to pose the question to those watching out there . . .

What do you all want to see on this site?

Here a few ideas that we came up with yesterday;  so I wanted to see if we are on the mark, or if we are missing something else.

• Video from the road in the RV (between races)
• Pictures from the Races and Events (with drivers, celebs, fans)
• A vlog (video log) of myself talking to you from the road,
• A shave the Yeti Contest (where I let one of you shave me, after Carl wins)
• The Yeti Cam (where I take you behind the scenes with a video camera)
• A Yeti Community, where you (the viewers), can post pictures, videos, chat, etc.
• More Yeti Polls

Please post some comments to give us an idea of what you guys want.  We will probably do all of the above, but I wanted to hear your thoughts as well.

Also spread the word, if you haven't already.

I'm back in Columbia

I'm back in Columbia and off for the next week, before I head back out to Las Vegas.  I'm trying to learn this blogging shit on my downtime, so bear with me on my first couple of postings.  I'll be putting up some pictures that I collected from the past couple of races sometime this week.  Carl is headed down to Mexico City for the Busch Race this Sunday at 12:30.  I'll be heading up to D. Rowes around noon with several other Giacchi and 99/60 fans if you want to join me.

For now, I am going to post some pictures, and figure out how to work this site a lot better.

The Nascar Yeti survives Cali

The Nascar Yeti survived the trip to California, and will remain with us for at least two more weeks, when Carl gives it another go around in Vegas on March 10th.  Tom will be heading home this week, and we should be able to post some of his photos from the past two races soon. 

For now, here is a preliminary design for the first yeti t-shirt.  We've added a hat on the Yeti, and will be sticking to the "Yeti Hunt" theme.  Give us your comments.  We should have them on sale soon, if you have interest.

As for another update . . . Tommy arrived in California yesterday, but due to his preparations for Carl's arrival, his time is limited and he hasn't had a chance to post anything yet.  Rest assured, he tells me he has plenty of pics from Daytona and will get plenty more this weekend in Cali.   Next week, he heads home to CoMO and we will sit down and upload everything.  We are trying to give him the tools to post video, pics, and audio from the road, and very soon we will be there.  For now, add his Blidget to your site, or myspace account if you can.  Later today, the first Nascar Yeti T-shirt Design will be posted, so stay tuned.

Not official yet, but the first contest, may roll out shortly as well.  The Yeti is a hard man to track down, but eventually we will nab him.

Go Vote On The Latest Yeti Poll

Look to your left, and go vote on the first Yeti Poll of the season. 

In this poll we ask . . ."When and Where Will Carl Kill The Yeti?" 

We have given six mutliple choice answers (the next six races), asking you, the Yeti fans; when you think Carl will win his next race.  Tommy assures us that Carl will see himself in victory lane this coming weekend in California.  As we all know, once Carl gets the checkered flag, Tommy will be able to rid himself of the beast that haunts him daily . . . The Nascar Yeti.

Tommy is Back for 2007 and Hairy as Hell

Coming this NASCAR Season, Tommy Giacchi, will take us beyond the pits, and give us an insider look at the NASCAR Circuit.  "The NASCAR Yeti" a name that is as obvious as the hair on his face, Tommy will continue to keep his end of the deal, and not shave until Carl Edwards brings home a Nextel Cup Victory in 2007.  Getting up close and personal with a Yeti has never been achievable until now.  Stay tuned for audio, video, and pictures from the pits, parties, the RV, etc.  It's all beginning on February 18th in Daytona.
